I carabinieri del Nucleo Operativo e Radiomobile di Portoferraio gli avevano perquisito la casa, a Livorno, circa un mese fa, perché nel 2011 si era associato a una banda di coetanei per commettere furti notturni ai danni di slot-machine, videopoker e macchinette cambia soldi di bar e locali, soprattutto elbani. Durante la perquisizione, però, erano saltate fuori, oltre a tante monetine, ben dieci tavole da neve nuove e impacchettate.
